Devices
Devices is the top item in the navigation tree. It can not be deleted.
Selecting Devices in the navigation tree will display its details in a data-grid to the left of the navigation tree.
To create a new BACnet device the user has to click on the New button on the toolbar.
The data-grid shows all the top-level BACnet devices in the configuration setup. Only one should have the Active setup check-box enabled, the other are dormant.
Device identifier: This is a unique BACnet device identifier for the device.
Name: This is the name of the device.
Max TL disk-write delay: This is a property that states the maximum database/file commit timeout in seconds. This timeout is set to minimize disk-writes of fast changing data, like rapid logging in Trend Log objects. The longer this timeout is the more data can be lost if the device crashes, for example by loosing power.
Enabled: This property states if the BACnet device is set to be enabled. If the BACnet device is not set to the active controller, then this property has no effect.
Peripheral setup:This is the name of the attached controller.
