Ethernet 0: If the Ethernet port is not present on the DINGO device then the status message states “Not present” else it will state “Is not connected”. If the Ethernet cable is connected then the status message states “Is connected” and the current IP address will be presented.
The gauge shows the strength of the interface. If the interface is not connected, it shows 0% and if it is connected, it shows 100%.
Ethernet 1: The second Ethernet port needs to be activated, before it can work. If the second Ethernet port is not present on the DINGO device then the status message states “Not present” else it will state “Is not connected”. If the Ethernet cable is connected then the status message states “Is connected” and the current IP address will be presented.
The gauge shows the strength of the interface. If the interface is not connected, it shows 0% and if it is connected, it shows 100%.
Wireless: If a wireless adapter is not present on the DINGO device then the status message states “Not present” else it will state “Is not connected”. If the wireless adapter has got a connection then the status message states “Is connected” and the current IP address and connected SSID will be presented.
If the wireless adapter is set up to host a access point (hotspot), then the status message will show the SSID for this access point.
The gauge shows the signal strength of the network that the wireless adapter is connected to. If the pointer is in the red area, it means bad signal strength. If it is in the yellow area, it means acceptable signal strength. If it is in the green area, it means excellent signal strength. If the interface is not connected, it shows 0%.
Modem: If the DINGO GSM is not present on the DINGO device then the status message states “Not present” else it will state “Is not connected”. If theDINGO GSM has got a connection then the status message states “Is connected” and the current IP address will be presented.
The gauge shows the signal strength of the cellular network provider that the modem is connected to. If the pointer is in the red area, it means bad signal strength. If it is in the yellow area, it means acceptable signal strength. If it is in the green area, it means excellent signal strength. If the interface is not connected, it shows 0%.
