Extra functionality can be added to the DINGO-Stack with DINGO applications.
An example is an application that integrates with the IBM Watson Platform. This application pushes values from BACnet devices to the IBM Watson Platform.
The DINGO applications can have a wide variety of functionality.
Each application has some common configuration properties.
App type: This is the name of the application type.
Name: This is the name of the application itself.
Peripheral setup: This is the name of the attached controller. To choose a controller click the ... button to the left of the field. A window with a list of controllers appears. Make sure to select the active controller (the controller with a green triangle in front of it).
Instance nr.: This is the instance number for the application.
Start at startup: Determines if the application should start when the DINGO-Stack starts.
Start now: Determines if the application should start as soon as possible after the setting has been saved back to the DINGO device.
Program: Is not used at the moment.
Scheduler: Is not used at the moment.
Each application can also have some configuration properties that are specific for the application type. These properties have tool-tips that appear when the mouse is hoovered over them.
