Toolbar
The toolbar provides functionality to the navigation tree when configuring the peripheral setup. It is divided into groups.
To create new items in the tree the user has to click the New button.
To delete items from the tree the user has to click the Delete button.
The user can copy and paste items in the navigation tree. The user can select an item in the tree and right-click to choose Copy or Paste from the menu that appears. The user can also use the keyboard combinations ctrl + c to copy and ctrl + v to paste. The copied item will appear in the clipboard-group. Clicking the red x button in the upper right corner will remove any items that are in the clipboard.
The user can export any item in the navigation tree to a file, that can then be imported to another DINGO device. The user can select an item in the tree and click the Export button. The Include children determines if child items under the selected item should be included in the export. A new window will appear.
The window shows the items to be exported in a JSON format. Clicking the Formatted button will make the JSON content more readable for review. Clicking the Compact button will reduce the size of the export file. Clicking the Save to file... will save the JSON content to a file. The user can also mark the content in the text-box and use the keyboard combination ctrl + c to copy the content to the clipboard.
When exporting a product, the window will appear different. It will try and find templates associated with the product and any other bus specific items, for example LoRaWAN profile and LoRaWAN decoder. It will store all found items in a single JSON, except the LoRaWAN decoder that will be exported into a different file. Super users of the DINGO-Manager can export the product, with vendor information, templates and everything included, to the Go-IoT Cloud.
The user can import items into the navigation tree by first selecting a target in the tree and then clicking on the Import button. A new window will appear.
Clicking the Load from file... button will read the JSON content to be imported from a file. When the content has been loaded from a file or pasted into the text-box via the clipboard, the user can click the Formatted or Compact buttons to review the content. When the user is ready to perform the import, he will click the Import button. If the content to be imported is not allowed under the selected target in the navigation tree, then an error is displayed and the import is cancelled. A busy indicator will appear while the import takes place. When the import is finished, then close the window and remember to save the changes.
This area shows if any entities are loading in the background.
Clicking the Settings... button will open a window with various peripheral settings.
