.defs

The data item at path /.defs is a collection of all data type definitions that the DINGO device has been configured to contain.

There is no requirement for a server to contain the definitions for the data types declared by the data in its database. However, it is very helpful for client interactions if that information is available in the server. This avoids the need for the client to be guided by some other means to finding the definitions. This is potentially a very large collection.
